The business of oil Edwin Black, author of "Internal Combustion: How Corporations and Governments Addicted the World to Oil and Derailed the Alternatives" (St. Martin's Press, $27.95) discusses his book tonight at 6 at the Kaufmann Auditorium, 1835 Centre Ave., the Hill District. The Hill House Association and Bender Consulting Services are the co-sponsors of the free program. Black's other books include "Banking on Baghdad" and "IBM and the Holocaust," which was named book of the year by the American Society of Journalists in 2001. Information: 412-392-4404.
